Sweet Little News...

So I've been pretty quiet around these parts.  We have had a busy spring full of baseball, Hubs job promotion and intense travel, school and maybe one other little thing is worth mentioning...

We are expecting!!!  This is not a drill! I promise it is true and it is a secret we have been keeping since February!  I am due on Halloween and could not be happier.  It took us a while after Bubba was born to feel ready, and we still don't really feel ready nearly 5 years later #letsbehonest, but something clicked in us both around New Years and now the proof is this sweet bun in the oven.

We are absolutely over the moon about having a daughter.  Bubba has been asking for a baby sister since he was two years old.  I never imagined myself as the mother of a precious daughter and have always been slightly terrified of the notion...but when I saw our sweet babe on the ultrasound and learned we were expecting a daughter, nothing felt more natural and meant to be.  Hubs is already wrapped around her itsy-bitsy fingers.  We are so in love with our sweet daughter already.
